To provide, at affordable rates, costuming for drama groups, schools, festivals, community events, reunions, private events and more to Manitoba and Southeastern Saskatchewan, thereby encourging the exploration of creative minds.
PHASE 2 OPENING
The Costume Closet will be open for appointments only.
Appoitments must be arranged by calling The Costume Closet, no drop ins at this time.
Returns will not be accepted at the Arts Mosaic office, and items are not to be left at the door of The Costume Closet.
Please read the policy before attending your appointment, and we thank you for your consideration and patience during this time.
To ensure the safety of staff and clients, please note the following safety precautions for Virden Costume Closet:
All clients will be screened prior to entry. Persons who have travelled out of province, are showing any signs or symptoms, or not generally feeling well, are asked not to enter the premises. If staff members feel a client is unwell and has not answered truthfully, clients will be asked to leave. Doors will be locked and the premises disinfected.
Please maintain physical distancing of 6 feet between clients and staff.
A separate table will be available for the client to fill out necessary paper work away from staff. Such paperwork will be left on the table for staff to pick up. The table will be cleaned after each use.
Clients will be required to use their own pens for filling out forms and signing cheques.
Hand sanitizer has been provided for client use upon entering and exiting the building.
Only one client will be allowed in the Virden Costume Closet at a time to return borrowed items.
Returned items will be returned in boxes or bags and left in an area for 3 days before checking and returning to shelves or racks.
Only 2 clients will be allowed in the Virden Costume Closet at a time to borrow items.
Clients will be asked to not touch items which are on the shelves or racks. Staff will remove items as required.
Only one client will be allowed to use the change room at a time. The room will be sanitized after each use.
Items of clothing for trying on will be put in the change room by staff and left there if not needed. Staff will remove after 3 days.
Disposable gloves will be worn for handling of items.
We will be encouraging payment by e transfer but payments will be accepted by cash, cheque or credit card.
